In 2021, I was introduced to Kawaii art styles. This style of art can be described as “cute” or what I like to call “bubbly” or “simply cheerful.”

One of my students drew these type of characters and wanted to learn more on drawing techniques for these Kawaii figures.

During my research I have seen several characteristics that stand out for this style of art. Over the next few months I will explore and share my experiences from learning and drawing Kawaii art.
