Kawaii is what I like to describe as “simply-cute-colorful-happiness.” If you do a quick google search it will guide you to much more grander understanding that Kawaii is not only art, but a style and for many a lifestyle.

For me, I follow and create Kawaii characters using real world objects and transforming them into Kawaii.

During a visit at our local sushi restaurant I was inspired to create a Kawaii graphics using a Ramune drink. This lead me to design labels for a drink brand.

My favorite part about this type of style is the ability to convey emotion so quickly. Kawaii, simply-cute-colorful-happiness.
