I found a few artists with the same exaggerated features, colorful patterns and cartoon-like forms that Nzeakor uses in her illustrations. Artist such as Gariba Gyimah and Naoki Takeuchi.

Taken from a place deep within the mind. I'm reminded of Frida Kahlo. I believe the artist's inspiration of Khalo is a homage. Straight forward yet complicated. Ana Juan has authored and illustrated comic books and children's books. Her art is exhibited all over the world.

As a child, my family would go out to this popular local buffet. There was always at least a 45 minute wait. I didn't mind because in the waiting area there were framed prints of Norman Rockwell's art lining the walls.
