Doodling flowers has always been a form of escapism for me. If I was in class or waiting for an airplane, I’d doodle flowers to pass the time.

I’ve often wondered why my style hasn’t changed that much since high school. All the different drawing techniques I’ve learned since then and my mind continues to go back to the basics. A small darkened dot here and a pointed flower petal there, and my doodle is completed.

I guess it’s what calms and eases my mind from my outer world.
