The Package Arrived: Art Shipment Update

A little over a month ago, in this article Packaging & Shipping Art, I shipped my art for the first time. (It was a 16 x 20 inch level one stapled-back canvas.) And the shipment was a success. No rips, no scratches, and no damage. I used UPS and it cost about 30 dollars.

My grandmother received the artwork and called to thank me. After this test run I feel more comfortable shipping artwork across country.

The portrait of my grandmother I completed a few years back. She finally received it.

My mother took a picture of it to show that it shipped just fine. I was so pleased that everything went well I opened my Etsy shop, with peace of mind knowing that I packaged and protected my art correctly.
