The Cactus Stays
Welp, I couldn’t do it, I couldn’t paint over my cactus art. I really appreciate this art piece...ya kno what I mean? So instead of painting over the bumpy surface I’ve decided to let it go.
Yes! I’m adding this art work to my shop’s art collection.

I’ve written about this art work, talked about it…hell I even made a time-lapse video about it. I couldn’t just paint over it like that.
If your an artist, you may understand what I’m talking about. You know, trying to figure out if you should paint over an artwork and start over or keep it. Often times I paint over some of my used canvases because the art was initially created as a quick sketch or teaching exercise.
Yet every so often one of these art pieces joins my home collection or gets added into my shop due to interest from family and friends. The cactus painting didn’t take very long to create. It was just really simple and fun to work on.
Ever felt this way? Let me know in the comments. TTYL Also if you would like to create the cactus painting on your own see the video below.
